Sigma Delta Tau Sorority Community Service Chair
February - December 2021
Through my position, I acquired skills on how to plan and coordinate events with different organizations and how to gather volunteers to participate in such events. Some of the events I planned include: baking hamantaschen's and challah for a nursing home, decorating tote bags and door hangers to be delivered to citizens in a nursing home, an Earth Day campus cleanup with over 150 participants, collecting over 500 items to be donated to a food pantry, and creating cards and stickers for a little boy with Cystic Fibrosis. Each and every event was even more rewarding than the one before.
Coordinator Of Volunteers Helping Hands Chabad
February 2020 - May 2021
I helped plan, spread awareness, and gather volunteers to participate in multiple community service events at Chabad house. In 2020, we baked hamantaschen's and challah and decorated tote bags and door hangers to be delivered to citizens in a nursing home. In 2021, we again painted tote bags for members in a nursing home.
Director Of Volunteers for The Amherst Survival Center
February 2020 - May 2021
I came up with the idea to gather non-perishable items and clothing to be donated to the Amherst Survival Center. They provide a welcoming community where families and individuals can come for food and access to other resources. I helped plan, spread awareness, and find volunteers to gather items. In 2020, we gathered and donated almost 150 items. In 2021, we expanded this volunteer event and made it a friendly competition with another organization. By the end, my sorority came in first place, as we alone collected over 300 donations and almost 500 donations combining both teams! This is now an annual event my sorority does at school.
Coordinator of Volunteers for Earth Day Cleanup
April 2020 - April 2021
I came up with the idea to lead a campus and community clean up for Earth Day in the Amherst area. I helped plan, spread awareness, and gather volunteers to participate in this event for 2 years. In 2020, we had over 20 students gather to collect over 10 garbage bags of trash. In 2021, we expanded this volunteer event and had over 150 people participate, covering more ground! This is now an annual tradition for Earth Day in the Greek life community at UMass Amherst.

Through my position, I acquired skills on how to plan and coordinate events to raise money for a cause, how to design and create graphics to spread awareness of the event, and how to gather volunteers to participate in such events. Some of the causes we raised money for were PCAA, AHA, JWI, For the Kids, and so much more.
Fundraising Volunteer and Participant for UMass Dance Marathon
November 2018 - May 2021
Throughout my 4 years at college, I have raised and continue to raise money for Baystate Children's hospital, which is a local hospital at my school. I advertise for the organization For The Kids (FTK) Dance Marathon through social media and reach out to family members for donations.
